A B2B site is a sales instrument. If it only announces that you exist, it is a brochure. If it helps a cautious buyer reduce risk, it starts earning conversations.
Make the offer unmistakable
Visitors should know who you serve, what you deliver and what happens after they enquire — above the fold and again near the footer. Ambiguous taglines feel creative and convert poorly.
Show proof without theatre
Process, stack, case narratives and contact paths outperform stock photography and award walls you cannot defend. If a metric is not verified, do not put it in a hero banner.
Design the enquiry as a product
Ask for enough to qualify, not so much that a busy founder leaves. Confirm success. State response time. Offer a second channel such as a call or WhatsApp for people who will not complete a long form on mobile.
Keep performance and accessibility in the brief
Slow, low-contrast sites leak trust. Semantic headings, keyboard navigation and honest metadata are part of conversion, not a later compliance chore.
